IN 2016/17, the Beath HS Girls’ football squad reached the Scottish Cup quarter-finals and the final of the Fife League.

Despite losing both games, and with several of their experienced players moving on, the squad looks in good shape with 18 turning out for the first training session of the term.

Following on from their success last year, and with support from the 4Winds Charitable Foundation, the squad have now been provided with new strips and training equipment for the future.

The squad will be looking good on and off the pitch this season! Huge thanks are due to the 4Winds Foundation.

The girls then kicked-off the new season in style when Madras were welcomed at Beath.

Captain, Emily Wyse, proudly led the squad, resplendent in their new strips, out on to the pitch where the Beath High girls went on to win convincingly 7 – 1. A fantastic and very encouraging start to the new season.
