DUNDONALD Bluebell scored a time added on winner to take all three points in the Super League derby with Hill of Beath Hawthorn at Moorside.

In a highly competitive game the Haws had to battle on in the closing stages with nine men after two dismissals.

Bluebell had a penalty chance in 6 minutes when Barry Sibanda was hauled down and Adam Moffat put away his first attempt but the referee awarded a re-take after players encroached into the box and this time Stuart Hall saved.

But 3 minutes later the 'Bell took the lead when Sibanda challenged Hall for a cross and the ball fell to John Martin who netted from 18 yards.

Dundonald had the bulk of the ball but Haws held on and the visitors started the second period positively and they levelled when Calum Adamson's cross was headed home by Rikki Dair in 62 minutes.

Hill Beath had a good spell and created chances but in 75 minutes Lewis McKenzie went down in a heavy tackle by Rory Harrower and a second yellow saw the visitor red carded.

Soon after Darrin Wright was given a straight red for a challenge on Greg Meikle and the nine men battled on.

But in the second minute of time added on a ball into the box by Meikle was misjudged by Hall and Sibanda forced the ball home from close in to give the home team the points.
