WITH eight of the 11 qualifying weeks now completed in the Cowdenbeath based Fife Premier Darts tournament the first two players through to the last 16 play off for the Championship have emerged. Another 14 places are still up for grabs over the next few weeks.
Week 8 results from Friday were: Group A: A Candlish 9 - C Cant 1: M Buerskens 4 - R Cumming 6: I Paterson 5 - S McKenzie 5.
Group B: A Small 6 - S Burnett 4: S Hutton 3 - I Forbes 7: B Donnelly 5 - S Burnett 5: I Forbes 6 - D Scott 4: Group C: A Bathgate 2 - P Griggs 8.
C Brogan 0 - C Feeley 10: A Bathgate 5 - I Cochrane 5: C Brogan 4 - G Donnelly 6.
Group D: M Smith 0 - C Miller 10: G Hunt 5 - J Gardiner 5: C Miller 9 - C Neilson 1: D Morgan 3 - E Jeffery 7: L Mitchell 2 - K Frost 8.
A further 19 x 180's were hit on the night taking the total to 173. The best game still stands at 11 darts by Paddy Reilly and Colin Feeley has the highest finish of 164.
