THOMAS COURTS says Kelty Hearts will go out "all guns blazing" in their potentially decisive final Super League game of the season this Saturday.

The league leaders are on the verge of clinching their second title in three seasons after the 2-0 victory at Linlithgow Rose in their penultimate match on May 20.

Neil McCabe and Scott Dalziel were the Jambos' goal heroes at Prestonfield to earn a result that put them on 75 points with just 90 minutes left of their campaign.

Nearest challengers Bonnyrigg Rose will be the visitors to New Central Park for that game and could go into it just three points adrift.

If that happens and Rose win, goal difference could decide the destiny of the trophy, while any dropped points by Bonnyrigg could see it decided before the teams meet.

Courts, however, is not taking anything for granted, and said: "We have a handsome points total and are in control of our own destiny. The safest mindset is that we have to go all guns blazing for victory to win the league; Bonnyrigg are in there fighting and we respect that.

"Over the last few weeks against Bo'ness, Hill of Beath and Linlithgow we've not had it easy, and I think Bonnyrigg might have been looking at it thinking that they might drop points here or there. We kept answering those questions and I have to commend the players because it's never a given to go there (Linlithgow) and win three points.

"There's a sense of pragmatism in the camp. We know there are variables but we want to be rationally minded and work towards playing Bonnyrigg. With the level of interest we saw on Saturday and the last time we won the Super League, I'm expecting Kelty to converge on New Central Park."
