Lawn bowls
At Lumphinnans Bowling Club on Saturday past president Gary Fleming welcomed president Alan Walker and his happy bunch of bowlers from Crossgates for the annual friendly match.
Despite the rather west weather there was plenty of good bowling and a lot of laughs on the green with Lumphinnans just hanging on for a 35-32 win.
Both Gary and Alan thanked everyone who had turned out, who they felt were a credit to the bowling community.
Sweep winners for Lumphinnans were Jean Dickson's team and for Crossgates Gary Foy's rink.
