THE LHS U15 Girls’ Football Team performed in phenomenal fashion at the recent Cashback 7s’ Tournament, held at Kirkcaldy HS.
The team won all three league games in a spectacular way, scoring a total of 10 goals in three matches.
Alex Davie was in fine form in front of goal, netting a total of 5 goals.
The rest of the team all contributed to the team’s success by creating plentiful goal scoring opportunities and solid defence, conceding just 3 goals.
The girls were rewarded with a 1st place finish in their league and now proceed to the East Region Finals in the competition.
The girls were led at the competition by Mr Stevenson, who commented: “The most notable performance was not of any individual but the encouragement and efforts of all the girls and it was great to see them rewarded by winning their league.”
