THE snowy weather of the end of last week completely knocked out the junior football card at the weekend.

The matches involving Hill of Beath Hawthorn, at home to Lochee United and Lochgelly Albert, entertaining Blackburn United, were very early victims while the Crossgates Primrose match at Pumpherston followed soon after, as did the Lochore Welfare clash with Brechin Vics.

Dundonald Bluebell’s match at Fauldhouse United was to follow mid morning but Kelty Hearts’ match with Camelon at Falkirk was given the go-ahead.

However, when Hearts got to the Camelon's Carmuirs Park, the pitch had streaks of snow on it and it was very hard in areas.

The match referee put the match off, which was no surprise to the Hearts team.

This weekend’s fixture list is dominated by the El Clasico Ethx Energy Scottish Junior Cup derby tie between Kelty Hearts and Hill of Beath Hawthorn, at Central Park, but there are a string of important league matches going on.

In the South Division there are derby games with Crossgates Primrose entertaining Rosyth Recreation and Lochgelly Albert at Oakley. In the North Division Lochore Welfare entertain Lochee Harp. Dundonald have no game.

The full list is Ethx Energy Scottish Junior Cup fourth round, Kelty Hearts v Hill of Beath Hawthorn.
