DESPITE twice having a two goal lead the Cowdenbeath kids ended up pointless after a second-half comeback by the Loons.
It took Cowden only three minutes to open the scoring when Harvey SWANN got on the end of a Cammy Muirhead cross to slot home from seven yards.
Six minutes later Cowden doubled their advantage when Josh WILSON fired home a powerful shot from the edge of the box.
The Loons reduced the deficit in 21 minutes when the experienced Jim LISTER headed home from a corner but 11 minutes later the Blues restored their advantage when John James HENDERSON shot home from a Muirhead cross.
The visitors got back into the game ten minutes after the break when Allan SMITH slotted home an Aitken cross from close range.
Gill then saw a shot come off the bar before Matthew AITKEN fired home an equaliser in 62 minutes.
The Loons then grabbed the winner with 14 minutes to go when Lister cut the ball back to Jamie GILL to shoot home.
