BENARTY Primary School Shotokan Karate Club had a successful November Grading with Sensei Kevin Slaney 5th Dan.
The school Dojo saw everyone pass with good progress being noted by the now-Senior belts Ryan and Ben Rafferty.
They helped the white belts with their first kata.
Scott Davis and Caidyn Steer were only two of the large cohort of white belts who achieved their first belt.
Sensei Slaney gave learning points about using a good closed fist and how to improve Kumite (fighting) stances.
All were taken on board to practice hard in the future.
Results were: White with Orange stripe-Scott Davis, Caidyn Steer, Lennix McNulty, Harlie Nicol Murron Adams, Lakinna Wood, Riley Scally and Lucy Martin.
