All Home Nations are preparing for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia. Five established Scottish Internationals from Fife were selected for the Scottish team.

They were present world singles champions Martin Hunter and Maria Spencer plus world pairs silver medalist and Scottish Team Captain Michael Simpson. The players played singles, pairs, triples and fours against their Home Nations opponents and over three days the standard of play was consistently of a very high level.

Bob Dick was Scotland Head Coach once again and he was well supported by coaches Eric McMillan and Nigel Walker plus coach/director Sarah Jane Ewing who supports visually impaired Maria Spencer.

Every shot in every game mattered and every player played their part in a brilliant Scottish victory. All three Nations will come together once again in 2017 in Wales to renew friendships and compete for the Home Nations Para Bowls Championship title.
