Cowdenbeath boss Colin Nish has been banished to the stands for Saturday's crunch relegation clash with Stranraer.
The 35-year-old was summoned to Hampden yesterday after he was dismissed from the dugout during last month's 1-0 defeat to Dunfermline at Central Park.
The Blue Brazil are fighting for their League One lives and need a win at Stranraer in the final league match tomorrow to try and avoid the dreaded relegation play-off spot.
A statement from the club last night said: "At the most recent derby match v Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish was dismissed from the dugout by referee Stephen Finnie after protesting over a free kick award which led to the game’s only goal.
"Colin attended an SFA hearing today at Hampden Park in connection with this matter.
"The outcome was a one match suspension from the technical area which will apply to Saturday’s match at Stranraer.
"A further one match ‘ban’ was also imposed but suspended for 12 months – thus it will not become operative unless a further such referral to the SFA were to occur."
Cowdenbeath assistant boss Jason Dair and Pars manager Allan Johnston were also sent to the stands by the ref during a stormy derby match.
Nish was previously given a suspended one-match ban in January following another derby against Dunfermline.
