It has been proved a success with many pupils using the skills taught through it gaining openings in the work field.
The business community has also embraced the idea of ensuring that pupils are given all the tools they need to prepare job applications, CVs and handle interviews.
There are some 30 companies backing the initiative spearheaded by teacher Ray Fernie at LHS and they definitely believe it is the way ahead.
The Fife success could find its way to different areas of Scotland as the there is a clear need for it throughout the country.
It is tremendous that Lochgelly High should be seen as the engineer of this initiative which can give school pupils the impetus they need tio make a good start to their working life.
