THERE is no doubt that the Cuddyhouse Road, between Cowdenbeath and Kingseat, is certainly not designed for high speed driving.
With doubledecker buses using this stretch space is limited and there have been several accidents on it, although mercifully, few have been serious.
Having experienced being overtaken near some of the bends I know from personal experience that driving on the Cuddyhouse Road can be alarming.
The lady from the farm who contact our reporter about what she sees as a major problem has seen results of high speed at first hand with cars landing in the nearby field.
Indeed, I had a friend whose car skidded on black ice and ended up in the same field.
So perhaps there needs to be some speed restrictions on this stretch of road before a serious accident occurrs.
But then the drivers themselves could help by driving a bit more conservatively on one of the most dangerous roads in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area.
