AS an avid youth I read ‘The Koran’, as I had previously the Bible, in my pursuit of understanding.

I finished it with the exception of the lengthy chapter (sura) on ‘The Cow’. I have to say I found it uninspiring.

It evokes images of Paradise as drinking sherbet, served by comely maidens, under palm trees; of the physical resurrection and judgment of all who have lived and died, (some hope), and the simple exhortations culminating in Allah the merciful, the compassionate.

It’s a pale imitation of the Bible, which makes me think, it can’t be the real reason behind these self destructive maniacs and their hand maidens massacring innocents in shopping malls.

No, the Koran is only a ruse for what I call geo-political displacement.

The only conclusion I can come to therefore is this, instead of living in arid and inhospitable lands, now that Christianity is on the wane, the Muslims want to take over Britain and create a new hegemony. As somebody said, the means justify the ends.
