THE Coalfield Regeneration Trust Futures programme has made a difference in Cardenden and Benarty and in the near future it will be making an impact to the villages of Crossgates and Kinglassie.

So it is good to see Fife Council giving the people of Lochgelly the chance to take a major opportunity to make a difference to their own town.

Lochgelly Going Forward is all about people coming up with ideas which the steering committee can eventually be put out to be voted on.

At a time when there is a lot positive taking place in the old mining burgh Lochgelly Going Forward has £28,000 available to be utilised by any of the projects and ideas put forward.

So the important thing for people is to come up with some ideas that bring improvements to the community.
