I WOULD like to take the time to thank the people who put a lot of work and time into making Ballingry Rovers a very successful football team.

I am greatly saddened by what has happened with the club being dissolved through financial problems.

When I was the manager the players were a great credit to the community for all their success.

I would also like to thank Brian Marr, my assistant; Alan Shields, Alan Paterson, Alan Haldane; the secretary Tom Taylor and treasurer, William Salmond.

Most of these people put over 25 years into this club on the field and raising funds to make it the club it became.

There are other people who gave up their time to help the development of the club but I cannot name everyone but I thank them also.

I think it is only right that these people should be recognised for what they have done.

Also the sponsors who helped us along the way, a big thank-you. Yes a big thanks to them all.

MR BALLINGRY ROVERS, THOMAS SNEDDON.
