IT is tremendous that the Street Pastors initiative is to go ahead in this area.

It could be argued that the town centres of Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly are maybe not as busy as the likes of Kirkcaldy or Dunfermline on a Friday or a Saturday night but the needs of some of the people out there are no different.

People can genuinely find themselves in need of support when they are out on the town.

The fact that the Pastors could be up and running by the festive season is encouraging also as that this can be a time of year that people most need help. It can be a happy time of year for many but a desperate time for others and maybe one when people can need some re-assurance.

With the Street Pastors out there and ready and willing to provide assistance many people may be fortunate that the CLoCK organisation has come up with this initiative. This is good news for Cowden-Gelly and Kelty. PASTORS FAN, Cowdenbeath.
