Many moons ago I was thinking of buying a car by saving up at £1 a week.
With me a terrible gambler at the horses, every time I saved £10 it went on the first favourite.
Nowadays I am glad I don’t have a car as there is too much traffic on the roads with drivers of all types of vehicles breaking the speed limit no matter where they are driving. More police are needed to patrol the streets to catch the drivers who do not know what 20 miles an hour means. Bicycles are not the answer.
