HOPEFULLY the villagers in Cardenden who are complaining of being infuiltrated by dust will not have to wait too long for a solution to be found.
There is no doubt that there is a situation which is continuing to occur in the Jamphlars and local councillor Ian Chisholm is of the opinion that Fife Council could certainly do more.
The Lochgelly and Cardenden member has been of the opinion for some time that some officials are a little ready to waive rules when it suits and it is something he intends to address.
Certainly at the Jamphlars there is a definite feeling from the Purvis group that the situation can be sorted out and it is to be hoped that everyone can work together to make this happen.
There has to be ways of making this happen and the residents are determined that this should happen sooner rather than later.
With input from Fife Council and the companies at the Jamphlars this can happen but clearly time is of the essence.
