I realise this is a very controversial subject, but do the golfers and people of Lochgelly realise the implications of the Lochgelly Golf Club moving to The Dora.

And do Cowdenbeath Golf Club members realise the changes that will happen to their club if Lochgelly Joins them.

Who will be the club Captain, Treasurer, the club professional, greenkeepers, groundsmen? Which ones will lose there jobs.? Which Captain and Treasurer will stand down to make way for the other? Will Lochgelly want control because they have more members than Cowdenbeath? Who gets priority over their club competitions? Where is the first tee? Where is the Club House? It is not at the entrance of Lumphinnans as was indicated last Saturday.

As it is proposed that Lochgelly join with Cowdenbeath it would only be fair that Cowdenbeath members get first priority, but would Lochgelly members be prepared to stand back to allow themselves to be managed by Cowdenbeath?

NEIL HENDERSON.
