I would like to congratulate Fiona Sneddon, of 'Perfect Pooches', in Main Street, Lochgelly, on her courage and foresight to open an original new business.

I took my 'not so perfect pooch' to her recently and she did a wonderful job, a complete transformation.

I wondered what sort of shops would move into the new development in Main Street, and feared that it would just be a relocation of existing businesses leaving more empty shops.

So far we have three new business ventures and I wish them every success. I would also like to congratulate 'Fife Flowers' and 'Beauty Spot' on their lovely window displays. Lochgelly is looking better all the time.

Apart from a new supermarket (with a filling station) what small shops would the people of Lochgelly support? I for one would like to see a Cancer Research shop, perhaps selling quality children's clothes and books, or what about a nice deli? Keep up the good work folks.

MRS J MALCOLM,

Lochgelly.
