I HAVE been in debate with Fife Council over fishing at a local pond which has been stopped.
I was originally told it was policy and also hung up on by an apparent manager.
Later after making a complaint about this treatment was told this is not a policy and has never been.
I was told during that conversation it’s just something they don’t allow.
I contacted the local paper, the Glenrothes Gazette, who wrote an article on the matter in which it’s said Fife Council commented it was stopped due to complaints over litter and because of the danger to wildfowl.
I’m 17 and can’t believe or trust what the local council say.
People I’m to vote for and I can’t seem to trust what they say as the story changes to suit themselves every time it’s questioned.
KIERAN FERRIER.
