RE Maureen Kennedy's comments in the Central Fife Times of April 14, great suggestions, so obvious and so easy.

Of course there must be a 'law' either criminal or 'council' that could be put into being (what about 'litter law' or 'no loitering laws'-are they still in use?

Authorities could obviously get involved in these two teams alone.

I also agreed with Maureen. Hurt their pockets, no money, no booze whatever is needed.

Again I think parents should be held responsible for an awful lot. Like Maureen I think fines and custodial sentences should be given.

How many times have I heard of a 15 year-old 'lout' say, 'Can't touch me, I'm under age'.

Will someone tell me have they done away with borstals or detention centres with putting police patrols or have I just missed out that all the youths are free to degrade and destroy Cowdenbeath.

Everything she said in her letter is true. Too many options and the council cannot say lack of funds when when they are wasting money weekly on things never heard of again.

How is it that one single woman can see the obvious way and have the guts to stand up and be counted.

Who are the 'men' in Cowdenbeath. For there used to be some. Maureen keep up the good work especially all these easy and inexpensive suggestions.

Now we need no cliques but actual quick acting groups to stand up now or nothing will be done.

S WARD,

Cowdenbeath.
