WAS it not amazing to observe the many naysayers who ran what was a vile and dishonest campaign against the building of a new Lochore Meadows Visitor Centre, turning up for a political photo shoot at its formal opening.

If you go back over a year ago to the 'rent a clan' events held at Lochore Institute, you would have seen Ms Ewing and her Tartan friends howling down any support for a new Centre to replace an unfit for purpose building.

Unfortunately 'Oor Wullie' Clarke, who had been honoured by the previous Administration in naming the new centre after him, also stood up to voice his opposition to it being built.

As a result of this purely political campaign the infamous 'mass' rally took place at Fife House as the politicians voted to build the new Centre.

This gathering consisted of a handful of people, Tory supporters included, a small child and a dog, in an attempt to attempt to block construction.

It was noticeable that those who opposed it so vigorously were the first to rush beside Willie Clarke last week when the camera appeared. Shame on all those political hypocrites.
