RE Maureen Kennedy's letter, good for you lass, only you could think up the quickest and simplest suggestions.
You are right, authorities are too lenient with teenagers. Put all force of law on to them or God forbid what they will turn into.
No control? Why, where are their mothers and fathers or even grandparents, especially with it being the War Memorial itself that was sacrificed.
To show these 'kids' (who is anyone kidding?) what they are doing is wrong in every way. Bored? Tough luck.
But why damage our precious heritage, kids, youths, teenagers. I could not care, they must pay for all they are doing.
Just as Maureen said, hurt them, follow the money, then take it off them.
Make them pay for damage financially but also by community work, perhaps cleaning the War Memorial area.
So authorities how about starting to pull the fingers out and get moving. Please no more false promises.
OAP,
Cowdenbeath.
