I READ in the Times about a Kelty guy being the Snow Hero of Fife.
No doubt that he did a lot of good work, but the thing is that every community had their heroes when the Beast of the East struck in March.
Indeed, the paper told a lot of great stories about how the heavy snow had posed so many problems.
I was particularly impressed with the work of the farmer from Cardenden who did so much to clear a path to Cluny and also the Mossview Home in Lochgelly.
Maybe he should have been in line for an award too.
