THE story about the hole in the street being there for weeks bemused me.
You would have thought that when a hole forms in a street safety would demand it is fixed not to be fenced off.
When the hole appeared in a person's garden in Ballingry last year it was fixed relatively quickly but for it to be left for almost three months is not good at all.
I suppose that was a coal hole right enough and the relevant authority did not hand around.
This time there has been different investigations going on but surely 10 weeks is too long for this to remain.
STREETER,
Lochgelly.
