IN the edition of the Times of March 8 the article on Keepmoat Homes' development in Hill of Beath was of particular interest.
As a resident of the village for many years, the claim made by the company that they 'they seek to transform communities and improve the lives of local people' is very relevant.
In the event of adverse weather the village is transformed from a nice environment to a mud slick, from the entrance of their Baxterfield development right through to the village Main Street.
If the 'improvement' they are looking at includes deliveries lorries, works vans, contractors' vehicles, thundering through the village to get on site, they have achieved their target.
Sandy McBride of Keepmoat Homes come and see for yourself the conditions the villagers are having to deal with.
New housing is needed but developments should not impact on the local residents.
