IT is amazing that the residents of Johnston Park in Cowdenbeath have had to live with this problem of unadopted roads and pavements over half a century.
Clearly when the SSHA built the estate off Leuchatsbeath Road there could not have been enough liaison with the then Fife County Council about basic parts of a housing area.
But surely this should have been tackled before now.
In 2018 it is only right that this should be properly organised for footpaths and roads are a basic requirement of a housing estate.
OBSERVER,
Cowdenbeath.
