ROBERT Hunter’s experience in Lochgelly a couple of weeks ago is not really a surprise.

It is simply all part of the chaos that motoring is in the central area of the town and there is no likelihood of things improving in the short term.

Until the new health centre is built in Francis Street in the town there will be limited additional car parking and that is the key.

However, I am bound to say that there is no sensible explanation for what happened to Mr Hunter. That is all about a person simply not thinking, and the ironic thing is that it was another disabled motorist that provided the problem.

However, to the able bodied driver they may think what the hastle is. But for someone who has limited mobility it is a very serious issue and Mr Hunter was right to highlight what happened.

No doubt the person who caused him the problems will think now when they are parking and not go too close and it might make some other parkers think before they park.

All disabled parkers need extra space and that is something that people should always remember to ensure that people are not left with the problem Mr Hunter had.

PARKER,

Lochgelly.
