HAVING gone up The Avenue last week I can see where your recent correspondent is coming from with their worries about the width of the road.
The way things are developing looks like the carriageway is going to get a good bit narrower.
The backs of the houses look like they are going to be right up to the road way. This is bound to have an effect on the amount of traffic the road can handle especially as buses use it.
It would think that as this estate develops the concerns will increase.
