COULD I just say that I was amazed with what I saw on roads in Lochgelly within the space of a few days.

As an ambulance came down Bank Street with its blue light flashing this rather silly driver refused to move over and let him get past.

He frustratingly had to wait for too long before the driver got out of the road.

A few days later I saw another motorist venture down Bank Street and basically ignored the Pelican Crossing lights at the Auchterderran Road island.

It meant that pedestrian found themselves having to take evasive action.

Really these drivers should wake up to their responsibilities on the road.

And while talking about responsibilities what about the carry on highlighted by a Brucefield Plotholder in Lochgelly.

His concerns about the levels of rent are understandable but perhaps if the Brucefield Allotments Association was to act as a united force they might get better results.

The allotments officer of the council seems to be acting in a dictatorial fashion and it means that the plotholders are just having to react to situations as these occur.

Has the chap hidden agendas? Who knows but currently it is clear that the plots people are unhappy.

From what was said it would seem that the allotments officer is seldom seen at Brucefield so maybe the plotholders should go to see him.

VIGILANTE,

Lochgelly.
