WHO do the council think they are. Our High Street in Cowdenbeath needs a real and lasting landmark.

The large mural is a novelty but in no way is 'lasting', all we have got in the past wee while is shops with graffiti and now a mural.

With bad weather how long will it to start to look like an eyesore?

Cowdenbeath still has not had any pleasing and needed work to the High Street bollards. Are they, the council, making a mockery of Cowdenbeath.

No one has stated the amount the 'artist' that was commissioned has received, plus work and products, what was the total cost?

I am sure the artist did not work for free.

How can anyone say all this cover up of paper and paint is actually making a difference to the town's thoroughfare? How? The mural is visible going south, but not if you are paying attention to the level crossing.

Big deal, just as shops are visible at night after these shut, who is in High Street to care?

It would appear that the council have the stupidity to believe we who belong top Cowdenbeath class all this as an improvement worthy of being part of their investment.

Wrong, a false show of appearing to be helping to promote Cowdenbeath.

No one here would have passed the above as work essential from their large investment.

THE THREE MUSKATEERS,

Cowdenbeath.
