THE struggle that is facing Cowdenbeath FC is one that could need a miracle to solve.

The team is sitting back where they were in the second half of last season, ie bottom of the table.

Now at least at the end of the campaign the team were playing well and had a couple of strikers who could score goals so there was plenty of confidence that they would beat Lowland League opposition in any play-off

This season it looks a bit different with no experience in attack at all and limited experience in midfield.

What that adds up to is a team which is the least experienced in League 2 and it means that results are going to be hard to get.

Maybe the young guns will start firing but to be honest it is a big ask to ask so many young guys to compete with seasoned campaigners.

The thing is Edinburgh City and Clyde are no great shakes but unless Cowden can beat them the prospects for the campaign look bleak.

Hopefully the club can persuade a couple of experienced guys to come on board to help the kids for there are some really talented young players but they need help.

Time will tell but at the moment the odds must be on the Blue Brazil finishing bottom and facing another play-off.

BLUE BRAZILIAN,

Kelty.
