PETER Grant's article on Fife Based EU Migrants was puzzling to say the least, at no time has it been suggested that EU migrants had to leave after the UK leaves the EU, however, even Peter Grant I'm sure would agree that Migrants who are economically inactive or have fallen foul of the law whilst living here must return to their homeland or another of the remaining member states.

I make no apology for being one of the million Scots who voted to leave the EU, having voted to join a Common Market supposedly for trade, fisheries and agriculture back in 1972 which over the years with greedy politicians, some admitting they only became MEP's for the overinflated salaries, manifested itself into an economic dictatorship.

Most Europe loving politicians were either not born or in the case of Peter Grant, were schoolchildren, when we were well and truly conned into joining this expensive club, at no time was it ever suggested that under free movement of labour that even if you were a rapist, murderer or paedophile you could walk unchecked into the country whether working or not.

I left school in 1968, there were four classes of roughly 30 pupils and within a week of leaving all had gainful, full-time jobs.

Peter Grant would never have recognised Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy with the dozens of factories working day and night.

The possible motive for migrants wishing to leave is maybe the fact they have to wait up to three weeks for an appointment with their GP, up to 18 weeks to see a consultant if needed, up to two decades waiting for a council house, which is the case for many single young people or simply the fact that like my friend, have children and grandchildren with special needs whose support unit is being closed and are being forced back into fulltime mainstream education.

As the pro Europe spokesman for Scotland you blatantly ignore the fact that our children and grandchildren are leaving school with almost no hope at all of securing a proper job, so rather than concentrating all your time and effort trying to derail Brexit why don't you address the fears and reservations of all of your constituents
