THE Polar Academy team at Lochgelly High School is going from strength to strength and there are a number fundraising ideas coming up.
The youngsters have started their exercise in earnest under the direction of the Polar Academy's Craig Mathieson.
He has secured gym passes for all the youngsters and one adult each making use of the gym and swimming pools throughout the Fife Cluster area.
The parents have rallied together, working as a team to do lots of fundraising events. So far we have had stalls at various galas during the summer, walked over the Forth Road Bridge, held car boot sales and we had a charity event in Shardy's, in Lochgelly.
There is a bag packing at Morrisons arranged and we have a Race Night followed by a karaoke organised for November 10 at the Railway Tavern in Cardenden at 7pm.
We really appreciate everyone's support from the outset to raise funds for the Arctic adventure.
