BBC Part II-this was supposed to be about entertainment, but now the BBC has been forced to reveal what they pay their 'stars'.

It makes very shocking reading. Presenters, actors. journalists all are being paid shocking amounts. That is what your license fee is used for.

There are 18 people being paid between £349,248 to £2,249,999 per year-Chris Evans, second highest Gary Lineker £1,799,999.

The highest paid actor at the BEEB is Derek Thompson, who plays 'Charlie' in Casualty, the head nurse who doesn't do any nursing- £399,999 per year. The full list was in the Metro issue of July 20.

There are another 60 to 70 people who approximately who are being paid between £199,999 to £399,999.

Unsurprisingly the men are being paid a lot more than the women, who are now up in arms and have all signed a letter to the now Director General Lord Hall. It would have to be a Lord!

What happened to Lord Grade? Maybe that has him stuffed and mounted like Cowboy actor Roy Rogers did to his horse Trigger, and displayed in his livingroom.

Chris Evans gets paid four times more than the highest paid female 'star'. The ladies are not amused! Wonder what will happen now?

Chris Evans had the good grace to admit he is being paid too much and also said the gender pay gap is wrong.

Gary Lineker ran for the hills, a £630 a night hotel in LA, leaving his agent to say it is not Gary's fault. Who's fault is it then?

As I said before we live in a society based on greed! Last could someone tell the BBC weather people we Scots do not live in glens.

Come back Michael Fish...the weather is p?!h. Cheerio.

Next BBC Part III, entertainment, what there is or the lack of it.

BILL BISHOP,

Ballingry.
