THE closure of Urban Therapy, at the Crosshill Centre, has from the beginning been a question.

To be awarded 'grants', in advance of any counselling even being available is surely not right.

Why was £90,000 given to this project I will never understand?

Perhaps it is because too many of us have been querying not what went wrong, but why to begin with such a large sum was allowed to go to a non functioning project.

I know many people who were trying to get help but were put off or left waiting for appointments which never came.

The public sill never be given any in depth information and we the people have just to accept it. Why?

The same cliques always overlap and or get involved. That is unjust.

All the projects people want are refused or are never spoken of again.

We are still waiting for the end of May? All the historic and magical renovation of Cowdenbeath High Street? Perhaps lies again.

Again like the Urban project, Cowdenbeath seems to be denied it. Graffiti on shutters to be seen at night, if in High Street. How much is the artist being paid?

Encouraging public opinion to ask what is wanted, why is it always denied. But Lochgelly and Kelty are being bombarded with historic projects and funds. We have to wait patiently until the end of May but then what? Be forgotten and technically insulted by the council.

How can the folk of Cowdenbeath ever trust the council again, they say there are no funds, yet give other two communities grants for similar things, the folks of Cowdenbeath need, no deserve.

Folks take note, the money is in the wrong hands, watch who and what town keeps receiving. There is no trust , when grants and given at the turn of a dice.

THE WATCHER,

Lochgelly.

Fife Council have been organising money to be spent on High Street improvements in Cowdenbeath at the Green Square area along with the tree lighting in the area around the Leisure Centre car park. The Ed.
