WHAT a real turn around in Kelty Hearts’ fortunes inside four seasons.

The days of having to win play-offs to avoid relegation from the East Super League seems a long time ago.

Inside that relatively short time the club has gone from being strugglers to a team which has won the title, finishes runners-up and are now 10 points ahead at the top of the table.

On top of that the ground has been transformed also into a facility which some Ladbrokes League 2 sides would like to have.

Such is its’ standard it is being used by league clubs for Development League games and can boast a fine top class artificial surface.

The club committee deserves the utmost praise for the way things have been turned around along with player/manager Thomas Courts who has been able to attract top class players to the club.

The club is looking like it could win the Super League again which is brilliant being able to mix it with the likes of Boness United, Linlithgow Rose and Bonnyrigg Rose and leading from the front.

And don’t rule out the Hearts getting to the Scottish Junior Cup final and maybe even winning it. A real local success story.

KELTY JAMBO,

Kelty.
