AS a fervent supporter of the SNP I travelled the length and breadth of Scotland knocking on doors convincing voters why they should vote for the the new track.

Now I would like to humbly apologise to those same people for the absolute shambles the SNP has created whilst governing Scotland and can thank only God that they lost the Referendum!

Not only has the oil price that the SNP based Scotland’s future finances nose dived, as had been predicted by oil experts, but the SNP have went from once embarrassing farce to another with the usual cry, ‘wisnae us it was him (Cameron)’.

They have tried to divert attention from the debacles of Police Scotland-RTA victims left in a field for days; two people died while being subdued by police. The new South Glasgow Hospital-patients sitting for hours in an overcrowded A & E; a patient not fed in 5 days. Steel jobs lost in Scotland-Alex Salmond chose to to buy steel from China for the new Forth Road Bridge whilst feeding crumbs off the table to Scottish steel manufacturers.

They have turned a deaf ear on pleas for funding for essential maintenance on the existing Forth Road Bridge resulting in this latest fiasco-motorists and commercial drivers frustrated as they sit in queues, shops losing Christmas trade, employers being told to amend their staff’s working hours patterns, parents worried sick about getting back in time to pick up their children.

Meanwhile Scotland’s Transport Minister does not seem to know what he is doing as he shops and changes traffic routes, resulting in further chaos on Fife’s roads.

Welcome to the SNP’s model of Scotland-Independence? No chance.

J McDONALD,

Cowdenbeath.
