'WITH last Thursday's Vote making a lot of history, with Britain being the first country to vote to leave the EU, The pound at a 31 year low and 40 Billion being lost on the stock markets for Britain's biggest businesses, one has to wonder if leaving was really the choice that everyone that voted to leave really wanted. Even Boris Johnston looked particularly sad on Friday morning. Now the Conservatives and Labour, UK party's might I add, are being consumed by complete civil war.

With the Prime Minister resigning, and the majority of the Shadow Cabinet resigning, the people really have to wonder which party can the British Public rely on to take us smoothly out of Europe. If I was a betting man I would hedge my bets on Theresa May being the next Prime Minister as she may be the least compromised character.

The answer for us Scots looks particularly more clear, with 62% of us voting to Remain, it would seem that Scotland's Government is keen for us to remain in the EU. How they will do this without triggering another Referendum, is perhaps less clear.

One thing, however, is clear, politics over the next few months is set to be extremely interesting with potential votes for the new heads of both leading political parties and perhaps another General Election within the next year, all we can do is hope that whatever deal is struck, my generation will have as good a quality of life as the precious generation'.
