KELTY Musical Association's Sunshine On Leith has created records with packed houses every night.

It was a bit of a gamble by KMA to undertake such a new show for it is much more expensive to stage rather than the more traditional show.

Such was the success of this show do the members of KMA think that they should look to do something similar within the next few years.

The question we asked was: "Following Kelty Musical's sell out show of “Sunshine on Leith” last week in the Carnegie Hall, what do you think the secret of this show is and why so many folk wanted to see it."

Willie Tanner

'It has plenty local interest, it is relevant to our lives and happens on our own doorstep'.

Anne Keir

'It is Scottish, everyone knows The Proclaimers songs and it is a feelgood show.'

Peter Tomassi

'It's a real Scottish story about relationships from different generations. It covers the war in Afghanistan, but there are plenty of laughs too'.

Megan Muirhead

'It's new, it's modern, it has something for everyone of all ages and it is the West Fife Premiere!'
