Councillor Mark Hood has made a plea to the Scottish Government to speed up the process of replacing Lochgelly Health Centre in David Street, as the recent heavy rain has exposed roof problems. He feels that five years is too long to wait because it is too small and has a leaking roof. Do you agree?
"It definitely should be a priority. I use it myself and I think we need a new one quicker than that. It's not just about upgrading it but making it bigger with more staff so there are more appointments." George Courts, 44, Lochgelly.
"That's the health centre I use and it would be nice to see some improvements. I don't see why they shouldn't do it more quickly." Brian Scorgie, 44, Lochgelly.
"I haven't noticed any problems with the building, it fits its purpose, but if they get a larger one and there is more room for surgeries and appointments then absolutely." Anthony Donnachie, 41, Lochgelly.
"It's been there a long time and if they're going to replace it they need to make it bigger, with extra doctors for all the extra patients. It should be a priority." Sandra Walker, 61, Lochgelly.
