A SPONSORED walk/run is being held at Lochore Meadows Country Park at 9am on Saturday by a special charity group.

The walk has been organised by local registered charity, the Curly Star Dream Foundation, which is a charity that supports bereaved families and friends, when they have lost a loved one through suicide.

The charity is growing in numbers and now have several volunteers to assist the chair, Jackie Easton, to run this free and confidential service.

The charity also supports anyone who has recently had a bereavement loss and is struggling to cope.

Jackie explained that most recently the charity has established a close link with Crosshill Centre based, Urban Therapy, who are a local counselling service and is hoping to see volunteers working for the charity attend counselling training.

The charity covers all parts of Fife and also have had clients from Dundee and Edinburgh.

Anyone interested in taking part on Saturday 29th at the Meedies can go along on the 29th and pay a registration fee of £10 or contact Jackie on jackie.easton@hotmail.co.uk. for further details.
