THE next meeting of The Over 50s Club will be held today (Wednesday 12th) March, in the Royal Hotel, Dysart. Doors open at 1.30 pm for a 2.00 pm start.
This meeting will be the club’s Annual General Meeting, when all members are welcome.
On this occasion, members are invited to take along favourite bookmarks, to judge which one members feel is the best.
Last month’s talk by Councillor Andrew Arbuckle was very entertaining and he was also able to answer some general questions put by members.
Secretary Lois Cook, from Cowdenbeath, said, “Our Group is mainly a Friendship Group when like-minded people can meet up and make friends in their own age group. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month in the Royal Hotel, Dysart. In addition, we also arrange lunches, outings, and short holidays.
