A FIRM favourite in the events calendar, the 23rd annual Chip Week (17-23 February 2013) is setting out to celebrate this great family favourite with events and activities in fish and chip shops and restaurants across the country including Barry’s Fish Bar in Ballingry.

The staff at the local chip shop have been busy preparing for Chip Week with a host of activities set to take place, celebrating all things chips. Customers will be able to enjoy fun competitions where lucky winners will win FREE suppers. Ginny Snedden, the owner of Barry’s Fish Bar said, “Chip Week is a great opportunity to remind people how much they enjoy the traditional ‘chip shop’ chip”. Fish suppers have been more than just a traditional treat for Ginny’s family, her parents used to run a fish and chip shop in Burntisland, and she has owned Barry’s Fish Bar for over 17 years.
