ON Thursday Beath High School's senior football side's training session took a more professional twist.

Colin Cameron, manager of Cowdenbeath FC, was on location to put the team through their paces in preparation for the final few months of what has been a very successful season so far.

The boys are in the last 32 of the Scottish Cup, the last 16 of the Fife Cup and still competing well in the Fife league.

Said Beath High rector Douglas Young, "I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Colin for giving up the time and also for passing on some of his experience to the boys, who all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon".
