COWDENBEATH police officers are currently investigating an incident in the car park near to Morrison's at Bridge Street, Cowdenbeath.

The incident, which happened around 4pm on Wednesday (11th August), has prompted police enquiries in the area.

Detective Constable Claire Christie who is leading the investigation said, "We are investigating an incident that happened between two men within the car parking area at Bridge Street.

"I am particularly keen to speak to a middle aged couple who drove into the car park near to where the snack van parks.

"They were in a small green car and may well have witnessed the incident as it unfolded.

"I would ask that anybody with information contact Fife Police by calling 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls are treated anonymously."
