CARDENDEN'S annual Village Fair was held on Sunday (15th August), with a beautiful sunny afternoon attracting a large crowd to Wallsgreen Park.

Stalls and fairground rides were among the attractions and the crowd was entertained by bands, karate displays, dancers, tug-of-war and model aircraft, while the 'bing race' saw a large entry of runners.

Thanks are expressed to the organisers for their efforts in making this annual fun day a special success.
