COWDENBEATH Local Services Centres will be operating different opening times for the next four weeks due to "unexpected staff absence"

Five Centres in the area will have reduced opening hours until 27th August due to "unexpected staff absence"

To ensure continuity of service until then, Benarty and Kelty offices will open on alternate days as will Lochgelly and Cardenden, with Cowdenbeath opening every day except Wednesday afternoon.

Elaine Campbell, Customer Services Manager, said, "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience that these alternative arrangements may cause.

"Faced with the busy holiday period and unexpected staff absence, we have proactively ensured we can maintain a consistent level of service to our customers by temporarily altering opening hours at five LSN offices in the Cowdenbeath area.

"We've twined Benarty and Kelty and Lochgelly and Cardenden to make sure we can provide consistant service over the next four weeks for our customers.

"We're hoping to resume normal business from August 27 but should this change we'll obviously let people know as soon as possible."
